Century 21 Brainerd Realty was born on June 10, 1996 through a merger between Century 21 Ruttger & Ruttger and Brainerd Realty. While that may make us appear to be a newer company on the scene, our real estate roots go back over 50 years in the Brainerd Lakes Area.

In 1996, Century 21 was a third generation company in its 50th year of real estate service to the Brainerd Lakes area. Brainerd Realty was in its 20th year of service and had grown to become the area's largest independent non-franchised company by 1996.

By 1997, the new Century 21 Brainerd Realty had become the dominant real estate force in the Brainerd and Baxter area, emerging as the top selling company as measured by homes sold.

1997 earned the company the prestigious "CENTURION OFFICE" international award as well as the coveted "QUALITY SERVICE AWARD".

Throughout 1998, continuing their leadership position, the company closed, on average, 1.5 houses per day, 7 days a week, earning, once again, the international Centurion Office award!
